Website Designing — Different for Different Countries

Have you noticed that if being located in India, you visit google.com, then you will redirected to google.co.in. And likewise if you are located in some other countries like say United Kingdoms and you try to visit google.com, you will redirected to google.co.uk, which are the country specific domains for India & UK respectively. This is done partly to make the optimum use of the servers and not load any specific server with undue load. But this can serve other purpose as well. Like lets say, if you have customers in various different countries and you wish to show a different website to people from different countries than that is possible now. You do not need to have a different domain for each country, a single domain can server the purpose. Lets say you have customers in USA — where the internet speed is high and als does appesat work o in Africa —- where the internet speed is not so good, so if you make a site which is loaded with flash and graphics — it will work very well in USA but not in Africa, where the internet speed is not so good. So, you can make 2 different versions of your website, one in flash and the other in html. Whenever visitors come in from USA they can be redirected to the flash web design and when visitors come in from Africa they can redirected to HTML web site design. In this way you can keep a single domain and have different versions of your website. The above can also be applied to develop websites in different languages of the world like English, French, Portugese, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Greek, Japenese or even korean. You can have a different website for different language speaking nations under one single domain.
